Sculpture developed from Edgar Degas’ Spanish Dancer, modeled c. 1883 (cast 1919/21) from the Art Institute of Chicago’s collection.

A portrayal of strength, grace and elegance; this iron sculpture captures beauty in one pose.  Manufactured using the "lost wax" method.  All iron pieces are cast from a wax model.
