An icon of modernity at the time, Claude Monet (French, 1840-1926) captured the grand locomotives and puffy clouds of steam at a busy Paris train station in his piece, Arrival of the Normandy Train, Gare Saint-Lazare, 1877. Now, Patricia Breen adds her touch of artistry with a rendering on this remarkable Santa. Mouth-blown glass is hand-painted and hand-silvered in Krakow, Poland.

I had been longing for this ornament for a long long time. I was so excited when I received it I hurried to get the little paper tag off the top of the ornament. In my haste, as the tag released the ornament smashed to the floor. I never had a chance to see it in real life. Boo Hoo.Be careful out there...

This Santa is done so well. It is a different Santa but beautiful. We bought it as a reminder of our wonderful time in France. It is spectacular in person and will be on an ornament hanger with our other AIC pieces. Thank you for offering this piece of art.
