Ornament developed from Jean Demosthene Dugourc’s The Pheasants from the “Verdures of the Vatican" Series, 1799, from the Art Institute of Chicago’s collection.

Sparkle and shimmer your way to a festive feeling with these spherical ornaments that are anything but simple. Featuring hand-painted golden design of pheasants and garlands embellished with crystals against a black background.  Crafted from the skillful hand of Patricia Breen in her Krakow studio, this design was produced in a limited quantity of 48, and made exclusively for the Art Institute of Chicago.
