For the Pojagi scarf design, Erin Dollar took inspiration from a centuries old Korean tradition of wrapping objects with beautiful quilted textiles called pojagi. Historically, pojagi were often created by Korean women as colorful outlets for their creative energies and used throughout daily life. It is with these special cultural connotations in mind that Erin approached her design, while applying her minimalist and modern aesthetic. All DESEDA silk scarves are designed by emerging artists from around the world. Their original artwork is printed on luxe silk in Italy, then finished in the U.S. in limited editions.
