Mondrian Lozenge Earrings

Piet Mondrian reduced his painting to the bare bones. He called his method, “the destruction of natural appearance; and construction through continuous opposition of pure means—dynamic rhythm." In this painting, the balance of color and structure is so precise that it reminds one of a prima ballerina on pointe.
