Cards developed from Katsushika Hokusai’s, Under the Wave off Kanagawa (Kanagawa oki nami ura), also known as The Great Wave, from the series Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji (Fugaku sanjurokkei), 1830/33; Unknown Artist’s Royal Women Feeding Fish,1740; Kim Eung-won’s Orchids, Joseon dynasty (1392-1910); Unknown Artist’s Bodisattva, Song dynasty (960-1278); Kawase Hasui’s Spring in Daigo, Kyoto (Daigo no haru Kyoto), 1950, from The Art Institute of Chicago’s collection.
