Holidays in Chicago Holiday Cards

When the artist Julia Gash visited Chicago on a hot and steamy August day, she discovered its delights, along with some much needed, cooler air, on an architectural boat tour. She wove through the city, where she was wowed by some of the most amazing architecture from the 19th and 20th century.

A handful of these iconic buildings grace the design of cards: the iconic Willis Tower, Hancock Building, Wrigley Building, Aqua Tower and Water Tower. Chicago is famous for its beautiful, ornate clocks that decorate its grand commercial buildings.

Chicago is world famous for many cultural contributions, including jazz and deep dish pizza, both of which are featured in the illustration.
